Annual picnic for preemie families to connect in a relaxed environment whilst the kids have fun spending time outdoors and meeting other preemies. Families gather with their picnic baskets to reflect on their journey and share lessons learntÂ
Preemie Family Fun walk
The foundation’s flagship event. An annual event to raise awareness about the risk factors of premature birth. Preemies, their families, and friends are invited to participate in a 5km walk in the City of Johannesburg during Prematurity Awareness Month in November. This is done in order to educate communities about our journey as well as how they could assist families with preemies. Â We endorse babies as young as 6 months to take part during a walk with their families.
